About Us
For as long as Australians have played rugby league, one coastal club has been part of the pulse of the game. The Clovelly Crocodiles Junior Rugby League Football Club, known locally as the Clovelly Crocs, is now over 100 years old. Part of the sports-mad, surfing fringe of south-east Sydney, the Crocs have produced some of the game’s great players, recently including Victor Radley, Shaun Kenny-Dowall, Taane Milne and Lachlan Lam.
In 2019, we were proud to launch the first ever all-girls Blues Tag team representing the Roosters junior rugby league district, with our under 15s team. In 2023 the club expanded this to 4 all female Blues Tag teams.
At its heart, Clovelly Crocs is a family-friendly, community based rugby league club. In 2023 Clovelly Crocs had 375 players - our largest ever, catering for ages 5 to Opens. As a long-time feeder for the Sydney Roosters, the Crocs proudly sport the tri-colours.
We believe that sport binds families
The Crocs are run by volunteers who understand the way sport binds families and creates long-standing relationships. A hundred years on, it’s still about continuity - people playing and working together, forging ties that last a lifetime.
It starts with an ethos: instilling self-confidence and a team spirit to build a culture of support in which juniors develop, not just as players, but as human beings. This club is about people coming together for each other and for the love of the game. It’s all solidly grounded on the bedrock of a community that knows and trusts each other. It has been for 100 years and it will be for another 100.

We are proud to be involved with the Good Sports program, a national program who works together with local sporting clubs to build a healthier sporting nation.
